Education technology platforms have grown rapidly in Indonesia in recent years. Numerous schools have demonstrated the ways technology is used effectively in the classroom, particularly in art education. Schools have incorporated a variety of digital platforms to expand their students' learning experience. Some art educators in Indonesia are now accustomed to supplement traditional art classes using platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, conferencing tools, and local online learning platforms, as well as providing students with access to digital-based instructional materials.
Gamification is one way to create an enjoyable, interactive educational experience. In this context, gamification stimulates learners' motivation and engagement by combining game design elements into the learning process. Through point-scoring, competition, and quest-like narrative journey, gamification helps trigger curiosity and improve the students’ creative thinking.
