VH AWARD is Asia’s leading award for media artists. Established in 2016, VH AWARD has supported emerging artists who have engaged with the context of Asia and its future. The award stems from Hyundai Motor Group’s commitment to activating the intersections of art and technology through cross-cultural research and interdisciplinary artistic expressions, and encourages artists who push the boundaries of audiovisual arts to challenge our understandings of the past, present, and future.

THE 5TH VH AWARD exhibition includes the work of Grand Prix recipient Subash Thebe Limbu (Dharan) and finalists Zike He (Guiyang), Riar Rizaldi (Bandung), Su Hui-Yu (Taipei), and zzyw (Yang Wang dan Zhenzhen Qi) (New York). Their works engage with technology in new ways and forge new connections, exploring the pressing social and ecological challenges of our time.
