About the Program
The exhibition Patricia Piccinini: CARE centers on connections and relationships based on compassion. Both through hyper-realistic sculptures, videos, and installations, Piccinini's works depict various forms of intimate feelings and complex relationships that exist between humans, animals, plants, nature, even machines.
In our daily lives, this complexity often manifests in adult friendships. From interactions in the workplace, to unexpected places and shared experiences, certain life choices can lead to new friendships that transcends generations and backgrounds.
‘Satu Hari Bersama Teman Baik’ (A Day with A Good Friend) is a collaboration between Museum MACAN and POST Press. This program is developed from Museum Teman Baik, an anthology of stories that explores the dynamics of adult friendships. ‘Satu Hari Bersama Teman Baik’ will take place at Museum MACAN, with a series of conversations between authors, editors, and the audience.
