We invite artists and the interlocutors to share their perspectives about the artistic process behind their work in light of the launching of Voice Against Reason at Museum MACAN.

About the Program
Museum MACAN presents a conversation with Hyphen—, Kamruzzaman Shadhin (online), Khaled Sabsabi, Nadiah Bamadhaj, Natasha Tontey, Sikarnt Skoolisariyaporn, and together with co-curators Rizki Lazuardi and Putra Hidayatullah, in light of the launch of Voice Against Reason.
This conversation will be organized into two back-to-back sessions according to the themes presented by the artists.
The first session with Hyphen— and Kamruzzaman Shadhin will highlight ‘Remnants and Remembrance’, exploring the ways artistic practice is used to articulate collective memory.
The second session with Nadiah Bamadhaj, Natasha Tontey, Sikarnt Skoolisariyaporn, and Khaled Sabsabi will focus on ‘Future Forecast’, exploring the shift of cultural practices and tradition—and the role of technology and contemporary art practices in the process.
This program will be conducted in English.
