Let's make a fiber artwork to bring home as memorabilia with your loved ones!
18.02.2023
About the Program
Saturday, 18 February 2023 at 02.00–04.00 PM
The workshop will focus on introducing Chiharu Shiota’s emotionally rigorous artistic process and practices. She uses threads, primarily of red, black, and white color to create massive, dream-like installations that occupy spaces as if providing a cocoon for visitors.
Intan Anggita, co-founder of Setali, will lead the workshop for you to start tangling (and untangling) the threads of your emotions. Bring memorabilia from your home, and recreate them into newly purposed treasured items with Sashiko, Japanese thread techniques!
You can bring your childhood blankets, old t-shirts, or hats from your past adventures. Create a fiber artwork to bring home as memorabilia for your loved ones!
