Mereka-reka(t) Ingatan (Cluing/Gluing Memories) invites the public to join a visual journal workshop with collage artists. By exploring paper-based medium like scrap wrappers, old magazines, and cardboard, participants are encouraged to express themselves and revisit their memories of homes, family, and life.
Ika Vantiani is an artist, curator and crafter based in Jakarta. In her works, Ika explores the idea of being a woman today, intertwined with media and consumption. Using collage techniques in her work, Ika applies them to workshops, installations and street art.
This workshop is limited to 10 participants. Tools and materials will be provided.
This session is suitable for adults and teenagers (13 and above).
