About the Program
All three exhibitions currently on display at Museum MACAN: 'Korakrit Arunanondchai: Sing Dance Cry Breathe | as their world collides onto the screen'; 'Natasha Tontey: Primate Visions: Macaque Macabre'; and 'Playo: Ulik Ulak Alik' explore major themes surrounding folklores, myths, and how our lives are shaped by stories being passed down through generations.
Presented in collaboration with patjarmerah and Indonesia Tera, Museum MACAN continues its #MenulisdiMACAN writing sessions under the theme ‘Satu Siang bersama Para Pencerita (An Afternoon with the Storytellers)’, to celebrate our human desire to share stories and the joy of storytelling. This program is developed from the book set of Para Pencerita, an anthology of short stories and prompt cards to accompany the readers in creating new stories and as a fun writing practice.
