Patricia Piccinini’s ideas of care and compassion are visible through her hyperrealistic chimera sculptures, through their warm gestures, and the depicted relationships they share with humans and one another. It is also through her works we learn that there are more than one ways to project care and compassion, transcending beyond the physical.

In this edition of #MenulisdiMACAN, Jakarta Poetry Slam, a community partner of Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, will bring together poets in a poetry slam session. Exploring themes around truth, kindness, and care, the poets will take turns performing their piece in front of the judges and museum audiences.
