as his world collides onto the screen:
A Conversation with Korakrit Arunanondchai

We invite artist Korakrit Arunanondchai to introduce his artistic practice that expands from the transformative potential of narrative and storytelling, as it presented on his first solo exhibition in Indonesia, Sing Dance Cry Breathe | as their world collides onto the screen.

About the Speakers

Born in Bangkok and working primarily in Bangkok and New York, Arunanondchai often draws upon the cultural contexts in his own biography as well as spaces with postcolonial trauma. Using essayistic and experimental approaches, the artist works with multiple collaborators to assemble audio and visual materials from various sources. With references to philosophy and myth, his narratives weave together questions about consciousness, empathy, and community.

Arunanondchai has exhibited widely across the globe. Arunanondchai is also a co-founder and organizer of Ghost, an ongoing series of art and performance festivals in Bangkok.
